Abby is home from 18 months in Lithuania!

Abby arrived home on December 12th (yes, this has been quite a month!) In true Abby style, her suitcases were so full with wonderful things that she had brought home from Lithuania, that she had to wear most of her clothes! She had on about 4 layers of clothes that she began shedding after arriving in baggage claim. Never a dull moment! It is so wonderful to have her home!

Two new grandchildren

Here I am with my TWO new grandchildren, Hadley Sophia ElHalta, born December 17th 9 lbs. 2 ozs. and Parker Matthew Croad, born December 20th 9 lbs. 14 ozs. Mothers (Mandy and Britney), babies, aunts (Bethany and Abigail) , uncles (Conor and Trevor) and Grandma are all doing well! Thanks to the kindness and hospitality of Mandy's in-laws, the ElHaltas, we were all able to spend Christmas together in their home. We owe a great debt of gratitude to Mandy's mother-in-law, Valerie ElHalta, for being the best mid-wife in the world. Her knowledge and expertise insured the safe arrival of our precious babies and the health and well-being of their Moms!

I'm blogging!

Miracles still happen! Thanks to the gracious help of my daughter Britney, I think that I am now ready to navigate the world of blogging on my own! Wish me luck...!

It's Blogging Time!!!

I set up this blog for my wonderful but technology challenged mother, Lisa. She really has learned so much and become much more computer savvy in the last while but I figured I would help her out and put the first post on here to get her started.

Attached is a couple pictures that are a bit old but at least show the family a little. I know Mom is really looking forward to joining the blogging world so she can be cool like all her kids. :)
The last picture is of Zack, Mom's first grandchild. He loves to read and he fell asleep with the book on him! So cute! :)
